A $250 per person deposit is required to reserve your place; please click on Make Your Reservation for more information.
Trip costs include:
- $250 non-refundable deposit* (see additional information below)
- Round-trip airfare from Washington-Dulles Airport
- Emergency Medical/Medical Evacuation/Baggage Loss insurance and a temporary tourist membership in the Flying Doctors air ambulance service.
- All in-country transportation
- All accommodations
- All meals
- Unlimited bottled water
- Unlimited laundry service
- All National Park fees
- All gratuities for hotel staff, servers and drivers
- Thank you gifts to all who host us for visits
- Discovery Safari "Best Pics CD" (a compilation of the best photographs taken by all the travelers on the trip)
Travelers are responsible for:
- Cost of passport (if you do not already hold a valid passport which will remain valid for at least six months after entry into Tanzania)
- Tanzania visa fee (currently $100.00)
- Inoculations and anti-malarial medication
- Souvenirs and other in-country purchases (including certain beverages)
- Sunday morning offerings
- Voluntary contributions (Adequate host gifts and gratuities are included in your trip fee, but we find that some travelers wish to make additional personal contributions.)
*Deposit and Cancellation Policy:
A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 per person is required to secure your reservation. Trip arrangements, including the purchase of non-refundable airline tickets and reservations abroad, require significant financial commitment by G4TZ. Therefore, if you find it necessary to cancel, we cannot refund deposits after airline seats have been reserved. If the trip is cancelled by G4TZ due to an insufficient number of travelers, all funds including your deposit are fully refundable and will be returned to you within 30 days. If trip cancellation is the result of travel restrictions imposed by the United States or a foreign government, your initial deposit and any additional funds you have remitted may or may not be refundable in full depending upon financial commitments made by G4TZ.
Please note that it is possible to purchase Trip Cancellation Insurance so your investment is secure if you find it necessary to cancel or if cancellation as a result of unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of G4TZ is required. No Trip Cancellation Insurance is automatically provided for you. See "Insurance" in the Traveler's Manual for additional details.
