In Our Villageis a wonderful little book created by the students of Awet Secondary School in Kambi ya Simba (Camp of the Lion) near Karatu, Tanzania, with the guidance of editor, Barbara Cervone.

This beautifully illustrated book is the result of the editor's efforts to let the young people of this typical Tanzanian village tell their story in their own words.  They do so most poignantly.

What makes this book so special to G4TZ is that we have supported several students at Awet Secondary and Grace Lutheran Church in Winchester is helping local Lutherans build a new church there.
