BECOME A GODPARENT FOR A CHILD IN TANZANIA
On average, it costs $480 per year to send a child to school in Tanzania. There is no truly free public education in Tanzania. With the average family income at about $1.00 per day, education is beyond the reach of a great many poor families. Our scholarship awards are based on need among other criteria.
We request of sponsors that they commit to an annual gift of $540.00 per year. The additional $60.00 helps us with the operating costs of our organization. However, we will gladly receive a sponsorship of $480.00 and we assure you the full amount goes to the support of your student. G4TZ does not keep any portion of your $480.00 gift for administrative expenses.

JOIN US ON A DISCOVERY SAFARI
Godparents for Tanzania sponsors annual trips to the Kilimanjaro and Karatu regions of northern Tanzania. We would be delighted to have you join us to visit our friends there. We visit our students, their schools, hospitals and churches. We go to learn what life is like for our friends in a developing country.
